Here's a quick recap of the current Iraq news:

• Neocons were at odds military leaders offering less rosy predictions about the war. Guess who was right? Oh, and General Tommy Franks described Deputy Defense Secretary Douglas Feith as “The fucking stupidest guy on the face of the earth.”
• The Whitehouse trying to lower expections on the upcoming Iraqi election. The process is key, not voter turnout. Hey, keeping people from the polls is a winning strategy in the U.S.
• For terrorists, Iraq is the new Afganistan. I feel safer already.
• And... wait for it... yup! We found no WMDs in Iraq! I'm shocked, shocked I tell you. But our President assures us that it was still the right thing to do.

Oh yeah, more soldiers and even more Iraqis are dead.
